IT Security E-Discovery Forensic Analyst | UTC Corporation | Hartford, CT United Technologies Corporation, a Fortune top 50 company is a dynamic global corporation operating at the leading edge of commercial and military aviation, aerospace systems, climate control, elevator design, security and fire protection as well as hydrogen fuel cell development Conduct and oversee forensic discovery of computer systems and collecting digital evidence. Consult on collection and preservation of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). Interact with Business Unit E-Discovery Analyst. Follow established methodologies and procedures and meet deadlines. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Math, or MIS The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills as well as a high level of motivation. EnCE certification preferred CISM or CISSP will be considered a plus, however not required. Understanding of Encase forensic software or other forensic packages In-depth knowledge of operating systems such as: Windows NT, Windows 2000, Server 2000, Windows XP, Server 2003, Linux, Unix Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to work with direct supervision Ability to work in a team environment Ability to handle several projects at a given time Ability to identify problems and bring them to the manager(`9s attention immediately Must be committed to achieving results and tight deadlines Must be a proactive and results/metrics driven individual.
